Jamaica’s Voicemail Unveils New Mix Tape

Jamaican dancehall duo Voicemail has released a new mix tape ahead of the planned summer release of their new album.

The mix tape, called “Journey Continues,” was mixed by popular radio jock and selector Kurt “the Party Animal” Riley.

“We just released the mix tape and, at the same time, we are fine tuning tracks for the upcoming album, which is coming out this summer,” said group member Kevin Blair. “This is something that we want the fans to have to keep them entertained until the album drops.”

The next album, the group’s fourth, will be mix of “entertaining and electric” material, according to Blair.

The album, called “Next Level,” follows up its most recent work, “Jump Off,” which, like much event Jamaican music, found success in Japan.

The group, which recently released the video for the track, “Wrong Number,” has been touring the Caribbean of late, with performances in St Kitts and Nevis and the Bahamas.
