Haiti’s national soccer team lost 1-0 to Dartmouth Friday night, in the first match of an Ivy League swing.

The only goal of the game was scored by Alex Adelabu, who scored in the 63rd minute of play.

“I’m really pleased with the performance of our young team,” said Dartmouth Coach Jeff Cook. “Alex Adelabu had a great goal and Teo Larsson-Sax had a terrific game in the back, but I think, more important than the result, was teaming up with Partners in Health and recognizing the ongoing help in Haiti. We’re really proud to be involved in that.”

Haiti will face Harvard’s squad on Sunday in Cambridge, Mass.
