By: Caribbean Journal Staff - March 24, 2024

Nassau, The Bahamas has been selected as the host country for the Routes Americas conference in 2025, the hemisphere’s premier aviation conference.

Routes Americas 2025 will be held from Feb. 10-13, 2025 at the Atlantis Paraidse Island resort.

“The hosting of Routes America 2025 in Nassau signifies a pivotal moment in The Bahamas’ aviation and tourism sectors,” said Chester Cooper, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments & Aviation of The Bahamas. “It’s a testament to our dedication to expanding global air connectivity and driving sustainable tourism growth. The expansion in airlift and ongoing airport developments throughout our archipelago have positioned us to achieve our goal of increasing stopover visitor arrivals to the country.”

The Routes conference brings together airlines, airports and tourism authorities to explore new routes and strengthen partnerships.

This year’s conference was hosted in Bogota, Colombia.

“Hosting Routes America 2025 provides an invaluable opportunity to showcase the unique attractions and experiences that Nassau and Paradise Island offer to travelers worldwide,” said Joy Jibrilu, CEO of the Nassau Paradise Island Promotion Board.
