A New Hotel Indigo Is Opening in Grand Cayman

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - January 20, 2024

IHG’s Hotel Indigo brand is set to expand to the Cayman Islands this year, with the debut of a new hotel in Grand Cayman this spring.

The hotel, set a short stroll from Grand Cayman’s legendary Seven Mile Beach, will have a total of 282 guest rooms, many with views of the Caribbean Sea.

The property will be anchored by a large infinity pool with a view of the sea.

That’s along with a rooftop lounge, a large pool deck and five different dining concepts: Catalina, a California-inspired eatery; the Pom Pom rooftop bar and lounge; a coffee shop called Cafe Alula; an Asian fusion spot called Milkberry; and a global exhibition kitchen called Rasa.

The hotel is the latest in the Cayman Islands by developer Dart, which also owns Grand Cayman’s Kimpton Seafire, Ritz-Carlton, Hampton by Hilton and the island’s full-fledged town square, Camana Bay.
