This Luxury Airline’s Big Expansion to Anguilla

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - December 15, 2023

It’s still the most stylish — and comfortable – way to arrive in Anguilla: Tradewind Aviation’s nonstop service between San Juan and Anguilla, which just resumed again this week.

The new services which makes for easy connections from across the United States on Tradewind’s broad network of codeshare partners, will run for the peak season through April 8, 2024.

The luxury airline, recently awarded Caribbean Airline of the Year, provides scheduled service and charter service across the Caribbean out of San Juan (and to The Bahamas thanks to its newly-launched hub in South Florida). That includes schedule flights to destinations like St Barth and, most recently, Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands.

The San Juan-Anguilla service operates three times per week.

Even better? Next month, Tradewind kicks off its first-ever flights to Anguilla from both Antigua and St Barth.

The Antigua-Anguilla route will dramatically expand options particularly for United Kingdom-based travelers looking to travel to Anguilla.

So what makes Tradewind such a special experience? First there is the company’s fleet of state-of-the-art, ultra-luxe Pilatus PC-12 aircraft; then there’s a dedicated VIP lounge in San Juan, meaning you just check in your bag, head upstairs and have a private-aviation – not commerical – experience. That, along with the airline’s impeccable service, makes for the kind of aviation journey that just doesn’t really exist anymore.
