Canadian vacation company Sunwing is set to resume its nonstop flights to Grand Bahama in December.
The company will relaunch service from both Toronto and Montreal to Grand Bahama in The Bahamas beginning Dec. 16, Caribbean Journal has confirmed.
The Canadian flights will be running once-weekly on Saturdays between Dec. 16 and April 27, 2024.
The relaunch comes after another important service to Grand Bahama relaunched in November, with the return of flights between Raleigh-Durham and Freeport on Bahamian national carrier Bahamasair.
Sunwing is offering vacation packages with three different hotels in Grand Bahama, including the Pelican Bay Hotel, the Viva Fortuna Beach by Wyndham and the Lighthouse Pointe at Grand Lucayan resort.
