Sandals Is Adding an All-Inclusive Dine-Around Option in Nassau

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - November 28, 2023

It’s a new concept in the world of all-inclusive: the dine-around — giving guests at resorts vouchers or credits to go out and explore local restaurants as part of their all-inclusive plan.

The program, first pioneered by the Bay Gardens resort company in Saint Lucia, has become increasingly popular in recent years. And now, one of the world’s largest all-inclusive brands is getting into the idea.

Sandals has announced it is launching a dine-around option for certain guests at its Sandals Royal Bahamian resort in Nassau.

The plan, which gives guests a $250 voucher good at any of the four participating restaurants in the program, will be available for travelers in certain categories staying for seven nights or more.

“At Sandals, we are constantly searching for ways to make a great guest experience even greater, ways that create memories that build loyalty,” said DaCosta. “We know that one of the main components of any great vacation is great dining, so today we are proud to announce that we have taken the bold and we believe, industry-first, step to invite guests of Sandals Royal Bahamian to explore a culturally immersive culinary experience by enjoying an evening at one of the island’s finest restaurants including transportation, on us.”

The Nassau restaurants in the plan include the popular cocktail spot Bon Vivant (sister bar to Atlantis’ popular Dilly Club); Cocoplum, the brainchild of French Chef Cecile Cathelin; Island Brothers, a locally-focused eatery; and the venerable le Sapodilla, one of the grandest dining experiences in Nassau.
