More Visitors Head to St Kitts and Nevis

More visitors are looking to the federation of St Kitts and Nevis for their vacations, according to data released Thursday by the government.

St Kitts and Nevis’ Robert L Bradshaw International Airport saw an increase in visitors in the third quarter, as did the country’s Port Authority.

A total of 32,843 passengers passed through the country’s major port of entry in 2011, an increase of approximately 3.19 percent.

The biggest air carrier to the country was LIAT, which transported 10,507 inbound passengers.

American Eagle brought 3,660 passengers to the country, and British Airways transported 1,953 inbound passengers.
