Bonaire Is Hosting Its First International Tourism Conference

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - September 4, 2023

Bonaire is set to host its first-ever international tourism conference later this month, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The Bonaire International Tourism Conference, which runs from Sept. 25-30, will welcome wholesalers, tour operators, travel agents and tourism partners from both Europe and North America.

“The Bonaire International Tourism Conference is an opportunity for our international partners to experience the unique product that Bonaire has to offer to its visitors, as well as meetings with private sector partners,” Tourism Corporation Bonaire said in a statement. “In addition, it is a great opportunity for them to learn more about Bonaire’s marketing strategies, explore what Bonaire has to offer both products and properties, meet new island partners, and bring new business opportunities for the island.”

That will include a speed-dating style networking event on Sept. 26.

It will also include the third annual Bonaire Tourism Summit, focusing on the island’s future, branding, air service, marketing and public relations strategies.

The idea is to “rise to the next level,” according to TCB officials.
