Royalton Is Opening a New Caribbean All-Inclusive Resort

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - August 25, 2023

Blue Diamond’s Royalton brand is opening another new all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean next spring, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The new Royalton CHIC Antigua will be opening its doors in early April 2024, the company confirmed.

The adults-only resort is part of Royalton’s CHIC sub-brand, which also has sister properties in Punta Cana and Cancun.

It will be set on Dickenson Bay, one of Antigua’s most iconic stretches of sand.

The property will have five restaurants.

The property will have 235 rooms and suites, each with a balcony or terrace, along with CHIC signatures like rain showers, free high-speed Wi-Fi and 24-7 room service, among other touches.

The all-inclusive resort will boast seven eateries, five different bars, a wellness center called the Royal Spa and sports and fitness facilities, in keeping with the CHIC brand’s active image.

It will also feature interactive culinary shows that Royalton calls “diningtainment.”

The resort will include Blue Diamond’s revamped Diamond Club room category, including the expansion of its Butler Services (adding more butlers per resort).

Royalton has been adding new resorts across both the western and Eastern Caribbean; this will be the brand’s second resort on the island of Antigua.

It’s yet another major resort for an island that has arguably the best concentration of high-level all-inclusive resorts anywhere in the Caribbean.

Antigua is getting another major adults-only resort this fall with the relaunch of The Verandah Resort and Spa.
