American Airlines Resumes Nonstop Martinique Flights

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - November 26, 2022

American Airlines has relaunched its nonstop service between Miami and Martinique, Caribbean Journal has confirmed.

After a brief hiatus during the shoulder season, American is once again operating flights between Miami International Airport and Martinique’s Aime Cesaire International Airport.

The flight, which takes around three and half hours, is operating four times each week, with service on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

It’s the only nonstop service between the United States and Martinique, a major boost for a destination that is one of the most fascinating places to visit in the Caribbean, from its world-renowned Route du Rhum to some of the best gastronomy in the hemisphere.

The service complements service on Air France out of Miami, by which travelers can connect through Pointe a Pitre, Guadeloupe.
