JetBlue Names New Vice President

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - August 10, 2022

New York City-based JetBlue Airways has named a new vice president, the company announced this week.

The carrier has promoted Renee Anckneras as its newest Vice President and associate general counsel.

In the role, Anckneras will serve as the company’s principal compliance and privacy officer, reporting to general counsel Brandon Nelson.

“Renée has been an instrumental asset to JetBlue,” Nelson said. “She has a strong background in driving compliance strategy and risk awareness, as well as crafting and managing effective policies. Renée’s leadership and counsel will be invaluable as JetBlue continues to grow.”

Anckneras joined JetBlue in 2017 as director, corporate counsel, infrastructure, properties and development.

She has been lead in-house counsel for the carrier’s major infrastructure projects, including its recent partnership for the expansion and redevelopment of Terminals 6 and 7 at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

JetBlue continues to be one of the leading carriers to the Caribbean.
