San Pedro Sula: it’s the portal to the Caribbean coast of Honduras, a destination that includes some of the most beloved islands in the Caribbean, including the increasingly hot destination of Roatan (which just welcomed its first-ever Kimpton).
With demand continuing to grow, Avianca has announced plans to launch service between New York and San Pedro Sula beginning June 3.
The new nonstop service will be operating three times per week, with flights on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The launch comes as Avianca kicks off another major New York route in June, with nonstop service to another surging Caribbean destination: Cartagena on the Caribbean coast of Colombia.
