Vote for the 2024 Caribbean Green Awards, from Green Energy to Sustainable Hotels

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - March 20, 2024

Hotels serving organic food grown by local farmers. Airports powered by large solar fields. Pristine coastlines protected by marine parks. Real estate developments fueled by clean energy.

It’s an exciting time for the Green movement in the Caribbean, a region where the word has an impossibly deep meaning. From climate resilience to renewable power to food security, Green has never been more important in the Caribbean — and that’s precisely the point of our relaunched Caribbean Green Awards.

Timed to announced the winners on Earth Day, this year’s Caribbean Green Awards Presented by EFinity Distributed Generation, celebrates the people, places and projects that are making an impact on the lasting future of this magnificent region. Our editorial team selected nominations in 10 different categories, from the tourism destinations that are putting the sustainable movement at the forefront to the developments that are reinventing the way we think about construction, design and energy.

Voting has already begun, and will run through April 20, 2024. The winners will be announced on Earth Day, April 22, 2024.

“We are proud to present this year’s Caribbean Green Awards,” said Jeff Beiter, founder and CEO of E-Finity Distributed Generation. “We are committed to doing our part to ensure a clean, green energy future throughout the Caribbean.”
