Colombian national carrier is launching a new nonstop service from Montreal to Bogota, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The new service will kick off next month, with the first flight on March 31.
Avianca is operating the service on Airbus A320 service with room for 180 passengers; that means the addition of 1,200 seats every week.
Avianca launched its first flights between Canada and Colombia in 2021, with routes from Toronto to both San Salvador and Bogota.
Avianca has been adding a number of new routes to Colombia since the pandemic, including the relaunch of popular service between Miami and Cartgagena on the country’s Caribbean coastline.
