Hyatt Is Opening an Adults-Only All-Inclusive in Puerto Vallarta

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - February 17, 2024

Mexico is a major focus for Hyatt, which has been rapidly expanding its Inclusive Collection of all-inclusive resorts across the country, from Mexican Caribbean hotspots like Isla Mujeres and Costa Mujeres (which just saw a new resort debut) to Pacific coast destinations like Puerto Vallarta.

Now the latter is set for another major all-inclusive resort, with the planned opening of the new Breathless Puerto Vallarta Resort and Spa, which will be opening its doors in 2025, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The 450-room, adults-only all-inclusive will be the seventh Hyatt-portfolio all-inclusive in greater Puerto Vallarta, joining two Dreams-branded resorts, two Secrets resorts, a Hyatt Ziva and a family-friendly Sunscape resort.

The property will be set about 10 minutes from the airport, with seven eateries, four pools and a bustling rooftop deck, all part of a brand known for its focus on energetic, active entertainment.

Hyatt is collaborating on the project with Group Hotelier Santa Fe, which has five other Hyatt-branded hotels in Mexico, including the new Secrets Tulum.

“We are thrilled by this plan to introduce the Breathless Resorts & Spas brand to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico,” said Javier Coll, global head of Hyatt Inclusive Collection Growth, Hyatt. “Mexico has played a pivotal role in our developmental strategy for many years, and we continue to collaborate with quality owners like Grupo Hotelero Sante Fe to strengthen our leadership in the region and address ongoing consumer demand for luxury, all-inclusive experiences.”
