Is This the Best All-Inclusive Resort in Cancun?

By: Joe Pike - December 13, 2023

Live Aqua Beach Beach Resort is arguably the best all-inclusive in Cancun, Mexico.

Here’s why, from the sparkling rooms to the service to some very cool touches you won’t often find at Cancun-area resorts.

For starters, the rooms: 371 newly-remodeled rooms at the hotel offer an experience themed around the five elements. Rooms include an aromatherapy menu and an adjustable lighting system.

There are automated curtains to see the beautiful sunrise of the Mexican Caribbean with the push of a button from your bed. Also, butler service is available for all suite categories (Wind, Earth, Aqua, Fire, and the Presidential Suite).

Butlers are responsible for personalizing the guest’s stay, ensuring that their experience meets the high standards of the property. You don’t have to tip your butler, but $10 to $20 of gratuity a day is recommended, depending on how hard you put your butler to work.

They assist with reservations at restaurants, the spa, cabins, and any additional requests made by the guests. Days before their check-in, the butlers take care of contacting the guests so that they can consider any previous requests upon arrival.

The Best Room for Honeymooners

The Honeymoon Suite includes a welcome bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries; a romantic dinner, set menu to choose from; a special dinner with wine pairing in at MB restaurant; 30 percent discount on Feel Harmony Spa treatments; a $200 credit per stay for minimum four nights; Jacuzzi service with the perfect bubble game; 50-minute, in-room massages for two; a Balinese bed on the beach with towel service, cleaning sunglasses, water spray, fruit skewers during the morning and hand and foot massage for 15 minutes a day.

The Spa

Feel Harmony Spa by Live Aqua has 12 indoor treatment areas and four outdoor treatment areas, lockers and dressing rooms, steam baths, saunas, a Jacuzzi and temazcal.

Where to Dine

The hotel has nine restaurants, but none are better than Carnivore, which is unfortunately the only dining option that is not included.

Menu highlights include appetizers such as Cured Fresh Tuna with Soy Sauce, Grilled Marrow with Morita Chili Sauce, a Warm Seafood Salad with Indian spices, Lobster Bisque and a classic Onion Soup.

Also, another popular option for guests is the Hidden Garden, which offers Asian fusion.

Entertainment

Guests should check out the hotel’s scheduled events and activities before arrival to plan accordingly. One of the best activities the hotel offers is a hands-on mixology glass where two professionals teach guests how to make both cocktails and mocktails.

The night has a charm that is experienced every day with different activities: live music, karaoke, silent party and theme nights. If you want to take the fun outside the resort, you can buy tickets at the hotel to go to Coco Bongo and Party Center, which are located 10 minutes away.

La Isla Cancun Shopping Village is just 10 minutes from the hotel. Among its 162 stores, vacationers will find exclusive national and international brands, restaurants and entertainment venues, where guests can swim with dolphins and sharks, play games and go boating.

Other options at a guest’s disposal are Plaza Caracol, the first and most recognized commercial and social center in Cancun, which is located in front of the resort or Marina Puerto Cancún, a shopping center where you can explore the diversity of shops, restaurants and entertainment with the best Outdoor setting, full of style and vibrant energy with the best views of the marina.
