From Antigua, a New Anthem for the Perfect Caribbean Vacation

By: Alexander Britell - November 19, 2023

Romance, adventure, culture, beaches, hotels. They’re all the perfect notes to the ultimate Caribbean vacation.

Now, in time for the opening of the Caribbean’s most anticipated new adults-only resort, The Verandah Antigua, a top Caribbean reggae star has turned these notes into a full-fledged anthem for Caribbean getaways.

It’s called Caribbean Vacation, and it’s the result of a musical collaboration between leading Caribbean hospitality brand Elite Island Resorts and Antiguan reggae ambassador Causion and reggae artist Red Fox.

The new celebration is an invitation for all to dive into the rhythmic allure of the Caribbean as these music sensations.

Caribbean Vacation, the follow up to last year’s highly-successful collaboration between Causion and Elite Island Resorts, Antigua Me Come From, is about inviting everyone to realign with what’s truly important – reconnecting with loved ones, rejoicing in shared strength, and fulfilling the dream of an idyllic Caribbean retreat.

Perhaps the biggest star of the music video is Antigua itself. The video features locations across Antigua, including Elite Island Resorts’ Hammock Cove Antigua, The Verandah Antigua, Pineapple Beach Club Antigua, St. James’s Club & Villas, and Galley Bay Resort & Spa.

“People naturally associate the island of Antigua with music, good times, and beautiful scenery,” said Causion.  “Caribbean Vacation is a celebration of all that is wonderful about a getaway to Antigua’s lovely beachfront resorts.”

The launch is timed with the grand opening of The Verandah Antigua, which has been completely renovated and transformed into an adults-only resort.

“Caribbean Vacation is a fantastic song that perfectly captures the romance and adventure of a holiday in Antigua. Once you see the music video, you’ll know why Antigua is truly a must visit travel destination,” said Sir Rob Barrett, Chairman of Elite Island Resorts.
