JetBlue has launched its inaugural nonstop flight connecting Boston and Grenada.

The year round flight, operated on JetBlue’s 159-seat A321 MINT aircraft marks a milestone for connectivity in Grenada.

The Grenada Tourism Authority and JetBlue celebrated the occasion with a gate ceremony including lively entertainment, authentic Grenadian cuisine and remarks by Grenada’s Minister of Tourism, Lennox Andrews, and JetBlue’s Daniel Blake.

The new service will be offered year-round and will operate weekly on Saturdays, departing Boston Logan International Airport at 8 a.m., and arriving at Grenada’s Maurice Bishop International Airport at 1:43 p.m.

The return flight departs Grenada at 3:03 p.m. and arrives in Boston at 7:04 p.m.

The addition of this service marks JetBlue’s second nonstop route to Grenada, joining the existing daily nonstop service from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.
