Hurricane season is upon us, and that means, well, a bit of extra monitoring when planning your summer Caribbean trip.

One Montego Bay resort is helping to take a bit of the worry out of the process, with the Caribbean’s only “hurricane guarantee.”

The all-inclusive Holiday Inn Resort Montego Bay has relaunched its Hurricane Guarantee for the 2023 season.

So what does that mean?

If a category one or higher hurricane interrupts resort operations for more than 24 hours, guests already on property will get a certificate for a future stay, equal to the number of days hotel operations are interrupted.

“Our Hurricane Guarantee is an effective counterbalance to the unpredictability of hurricane season, allowing our guests to book their summer vacations with the confidence that we’ll have their backs in the event their travel is disrupted,” said Nicola Madden-Greig, Group Director of Marketing and Sales at the resort.
