A New Way to Fly Between San Juan and St Thomas
There’s a way way to fly between Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, following the launch of new service between San Juan and St Thomas this week.
Frontier Airlines has kicked off its first-ever route between San Juan and St Thomas, USVI, with three flights per week connecting Luis Munoz Marin International Airport and Cyril E. King Airport.
The route helps open up Frontier’s broad network of flights to Puerto Rico to the US Virgin Islands.
“We’re thrilled to connect these two popular Caribbean destinations,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial for Frontier Airlines. “Those in St. Thomas now have an affordable and convenient option to explore the Island of Enchantment as well as take advantage of a growing list of destinations Frontier now serves from Puerto Rico.”
Frontier has been one of the airline’s fastest-growing destinations in the Caribbean, following several years of growth from cities across the continental United States.
It’s the second intra-Caribbean flight Frontier has launched last year, following the recent start of service between San Juan and Cancun, Mexico.
