Machel Montano to Headline Star-Studded St Thomas Carnival

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - April 18, 2023

The lineup for St Thomas Carnival just got a whole lot bigger.

An exciting list of music stars at this year’s St Thomas Carnival Village Nights performances will include soca legend Machel Montano.

The Carnival Village Nights, which begin April 24, run for seven days of free nightly concerts, featuring both international and local performers.

That will include performers like Jam Band, Joyceline, Frank Reyes, VIBE, the Pupa Kelly Tribute Band and Spectrum, among others.

The Village Nights will conclude with a Hard Fete Glow Night featuring Bunji Garlan and Fay-Ann Lyons with special guests Lyrikal, Klimaxx Bans, and Grand Master’s.

“The Carnival Season in the U.S. Virgin Islands is one of the most special times of the year for our destination as the festivals showcase the authentic culture and vibe of the U.S. Virgin Islands,” said Joseph Boschulte, Commissioner of Tourism for the US Virgin Islands Department of Tourism. “Visitors and Virgin Islanders alike can expect to be wowed as the Division of Festivals has an amazing week of festivities parties, pageants, and more planned.”
