A New Food Festival in the US Virgin Islands
Several top chefs are headed to the island of St John for a new US Virgin Islands food festival next month.
The new Taste of Lovango is set at the private-island Lovango Resort and Beach Club off the coast of St John.
The event, which runs May 2-4, will include appearances by Top Chef winner and James Beard nominee Tiffani Faison; celebrity chef and Miami restaurateur Adrianne Calvo and young star chef Robie Felice, among others.
Stephen Belle, executive chef at Lovango, will also take part in the culinary festivities.
The event will include a kickoff with live music and a series of culinary events, from a Prix Fixe dinner to a dinner under the stars in partnership with the Friends of Virgin Islands National Park.
