By: Caribbean Journal Staff - March 5, 2023

The Nevis Tourism Authority has named a new director of sales and marketing, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The island has tapped Phéon Jones to lead its new push for all markets, with a particular focus on the North American market.

Jones has more than 14 years of marketing experience, including as head of sales for Nevis for CIBC FirstCaribbean.

“We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Jones as Director of Sales & Marketing for all markets. The goal is to continue showcasing the beautiful elements and unique events of our destination as well as diversify/expand our source markets,” said Devon Liburd, CEO of the Nevis Tourism Authority.

Jones previously served as senior marketing officer for the Bank of Nevis Limited, where he directly managed the bank’s marketing department brand, marketing presence and reputation.

Nevis is off to a strong start, with projections for a very successful 2023 for tourism, Liburd recently told Caribbean Journal.
