This St Maarten Resort Has a New Rooftop Bar

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - February 16, 2023

St Maarten’s newest resort has added a major new amenity: a striking new rooftop bar and eatery.

The new Mix at Oceans is the newest addition to the Oceans at Divi Little Bay, the elevated resort-within-a-resort at the classic St Maarten property.

The new Mix is set on the fifth floor of Oceans at Divi Little Bay, a place for both locals and guests to “gather to relax, unwind, and discover international barstronomy, where hand-crafted cocktails are paired with innovative dishes ideal for sharing,” according to Divi Resorts

“We are thrilled to introduce our barstronomy concept at Mix at Oceans, where beverages are paired with food rather than the other way around,” said Anne-Marie Brooks, General Manager of Divi Little Bay Beach Resort and Oceans at Divi Little Bay. ““The views from Mix at Oceans must be seen to be believed,” added Brooks. “It’s simply breathtaking. Patrons can enjoy 180° views of Great Bay and Little Bay and marvel as they watch majestic cruise ships leave the port.”

The menu is led by the resort’s new executive chef, Julio Haynes, with a focus on sharing plates and creative cocktails.

“I can’t wait to show off our modern culinary offerings and showcase products and flavors that you won’t find anywhere else on the island,” said Haynes. “My goal is for guests and locals alike to have such an amazing time that they go home and rave to their friends and family about their dining experience with us.”

Mix at Oceans is Friday through Wednesday from 5PM to midnight, and closed on Thursdays.

Reservations are recommended.
