Air France is continuing its new service between Montreal and Pointe-a-Pitre, Guadeloupe, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The French carrier will be flying between Montreal and Pointe-a-Pitre for the second consecutive winter season beginning on Oct. 22, 2022.

Air France will be operating the service twice weekly on its Airbus A320 aircraft, according to a statement.

It’s part of a broader schedule from North America to the French Caribbean that also includes service from New York to Guadeloupe, among others.

The service opens up an increasingly popular destination in the French Caribbean, from the culinary scene in Grande-Terre to the rum trail on the island of Marie Galante.
