Grand Bahama has quietly been a foodie destination for years, led by Chef Tim Tibbitts’ world-renowned Flying Fish Bahamas.
And now the island is home to another hot new eatery: Sabor Restaurant and Bar.
Set on the marina at the Pelican Bay Hotel, Sabor is a fusion eatery, with a mix of Bahamian specialities and international favorites, in an al fresco setting.
The menu features everything from lobster, shrimp and jalapeño-stuffed enrolls to pan-fried grouper with smashed creamer potatoes and roasted cauliflower.
That’s along with the 20-oz “Man Up Prime Time” prime rib.
The mixology program is broad, with a host of colorful tropical cocktails accompanied by new takes on classics like mojitos and margaritas.
Or as Sabor calls it, a place to “savor all the tastes of the tropical.”
