Frontier Kicks Off New Houston-Cancun Route

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - June 6, 2022

Ultra low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines has kicked off another new route to the Mexican Caribbean hotspot of Cancun.

This past week, the carrier launched new nonstop service between Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport and Cancun.

The new flights are operating four times each week, according to Frontier.

Frontier has been on a rapid expansion push in the Caribbean, and nowhere more active than Cancun.

It’s another boost for the Mexican tourism stronghold, which is now eclipsing its pre-pandemic tourism totals.
