Caribbean Airlines Just Launched a New Route to Guyana
Caribbean Airlines has launched the company’s newest route, a nod to the growing business travel demand for Guyana.
The carrier has launched new nonstop flights between Houston, Texas and Georgetown, Guyana, including onward connectivity to Port of Spain, Trinidad.
Guyana’s booming oil industry has led to a wave of hotel growth and new airlift.
The flights are operating three times each week, with flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays through at least June 30.
“This new operation will provide direct connectivity between Guyana and Houston, which is the base of many of the largest oil companies in the world,” said Caribbean Airlines CEO Garvin Medera.
