The BVI’s Saba Rock Has a New Executive Chef

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - March 8, 2022

The Saba Rock resort, which just reopened in the British Virgin Islands following a dramatic reconstruction project, has added a new executive chef, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The property has tapped Venezuelan-born Chef Roberto Guerrero to the role, in which he will hold oversight and execution of all of the resorts culinary offerings.

He comes to the resort from INTI in the Maldives, where he had been serving as chef de cuisine.

His previous stops include positions in Turks and Caicos and Dubai, among others.

“Chef Roberto’s extensive international experience makes him the perfect fit to lead Saba Rock’s culinary team,” said General Manager Alain Prion. “Chef has mastered culinary specialties across the globe and will deliver a luxury culinary experience for our guests. We warmly welcome his expertise to the resort, and promise guests a refreshed dining experience with the same Saba Rock charm as always.”
