Bermuda Is Easing Its Travel Protocols in March

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - February 17, 2022

Bermuda is set to ease its travel protocols starting March 7.

The Atlantic island will require all visitors to show proof of full vaccination and a negative test (either antigen or PCR) within two days before arriving on the island.

Full vaccination is a change from the island’s existing rules, which had effectively required a booster shot for most travelers.

Now, any travelers who received their second dose more than 14 days before travel can enter the island.

“We welcome visitors from around the world with travel guidelines that ensure their safety as well as their convenience, and our updated protocols will make visiting Bermuda even easier,” said Charles H. Jeffers II, Bermuda Tourism Authority CEO. “Our hotels and local businesses are open with the Bermudian hospitality for which we are known. There’s never been a better time to visit.”

Bermuda is no longer performing testing on arrival, either.

The island automatically schedules and provides return testing for US travelers.

Travelers still need to fill out the island’s Travel Authorization Form.

“People are ready to travel, and Bermuda is eager to welcome them back,” Douglas Trueblood, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at the Bermuda Tourism Authority.
