One of The Bahamas’ most beloved hotels is planning a major celebration of Christmas this year.
It’s called Nine Days of Comfort Suites Christmas, and it’s a series of holiday events beginning Dec. 24 and running through the first of the year at the Comfort Suites Paradise Island resort.
The program will range from nightly live entertainment and sampling of Bahamian delicacies to an appearance by Santa Claus on Christmas morning with gifts for children.
That will also include a balloon drop ceremony on New Year’s Eve.
“Christmas is a time of year that families usually spend together and we are delighted that guests have chosen our hotel to celebrate this holiday season,” said Yasmine Mills-Strachan, Director of Sales at the Paradise Island resort. “Our hotel family has created and will host our nine days of Christmas program ensuring that the festivities will delight and entertain our guests, providing a warm holiday feeling and adding excitement to their holiday vacation.”
The resort has long been one of the most popular places to stay on Paradise Island, highlighted by complementary use of the facilities at the Atlantis Paradise Island resort, including its signature Aquaventure waterpark.
The nine-day event includes a program that gives guests a fourth night free for all three paid room nights. That plan extends through June 15, 2022, according to Strachan.
