Southwest Airlines Is Relaunching Another Cuba Route

Southwest Airlines is relaunching what was its most prominent route to Cuba in February, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The carrier will be resuming daily flights between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Havana on Feb. 17, 2022.
That complements existing daily service between Tampa and Havana; that route resumed at the beginning of December.
It’s not yet clear if this signals any imminent change in the US government’s stance on Cuba travel, which has been severely restricted since the Trump Administration.
