Seabourn’s New Caribbean Cruise Ship

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - November 18, 2021

Luxury small-ship brand Seabourn has unveiled its newest cruise ship for the Caribbean: Seabourn Ovation.

The new ship made its madden arrival to the US this week, where it will homeport in Miami for a series of voyages exploring the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America from November through March 2022.

The 600-guest luxury ship will kick off its Miami home-porting with three 11-day cruises across the Caribbean, with stops in San Juan, Dominica, Antigua, St Kitts and Nevis and Jose Van Dyke.

“A first-time arrival is always special for any Seabourn ship, and Seabourn Ovation’s first visit to the U.S. and Miami will be a great start to an exciting season for our newest ship amid the tropical beauty of the Caribbean and Central America,” said Josh Leibowitz, president of Seabourn. “Miami offers an easily accessible port for North American guests and those coming from Europe, so it will be a perfect getaway as winter settles in across those regions of the world.”

The company will also be operating a series of Panama Canal cruises, beginning with the first on Dec. 21.

The company’s cruises are all-inclusive; all accommodations are suites with oceanfront views.
