Carnival Corporation will continue its global cruise relaunch this fall, with the expectation of returning to over 50 percent of its total fleet capacity by the end of October. 

That’s in line with Carnival’s previously-stated plans to resume service with nearly 65 percent of its fleet capacity to begin 2022. 

So far, eight Carnival brands have resumed sailings, including Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn, Costa Cruises, AIDA Cruises, P&O Cruises and Cunard.

By the end of next month, those eight brands will be operating a total of 42 cruise ships. 

In North America, that includes four brands: Carnival, Princess Cruises, Holland America and Seabourn. 

Carnival Cruise Line plans to have 17 ships sailing by the end of the year, with Princess set for eight in operation in North America by the beginning of 2022. 

That’s along with Holland America, which plans six ships in operation, while Seabourn will actually have its full fleet operating by spring 2022.
