Carnival Relaunches More Bahamas Cruises

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - September 12, 2021

Carnival Cruise Line has launched another ship to the Caribbean, with the restart of Carnival Pride from Baltimore.

Carnival Pride is sailing seven-day cruises to The Bahamas, with stops in Nassau, Freeport and the company’s private-island destination, Half Moon Cay.

“We’re thrilled to be back in Baltimore, providing our guests with the relaxing vacation they’ve been so patiently waiting for but also supporting the local economy and offering  our crew members an opportunity to support their families back home,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.  “Baltimore has been a wonderful partner for more than a decade and we are delighted to get Back to Fun in this key market which serves hundreds of thousands of guests in the Northeast and along the Atlantic Coast.”

Carnival Cruise Line first launched operations in Baltimore in 2009.

In November, the newer Carnival Legend will replace Carnival Pride, with the latter shifting to sailings out of Tampa.
