Margaritaville St Somewhere Resort Holbox Plans December Debut

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - September 6, 2021

Margaritaville’s newest resort brand is making a December debut in the Caribbean.

The company will open its new St Somewhere Resort Holbox, set at the edge of the Yucatan peninsula where the Caribbean Sea meets the Gulf of Mexico.

The new resort is the product of an alliance between Margaritaville and Karisma Hotels and Resorts, a partnership that has also resulted in the launch of the Margaritaville Island Reserve all-inclusive brand.

The resort is now taking reservations for stays beginning Dec. 1, 2021.

St Somewhere Resort Holbox will not, however be an all-inclusive, the company confirmed.

And it’s going to be a very different property than the Margaritaville Island Reserve resorts — St Somewhere Holbox will have just 39 suites.

Some of them will be swim-up suites, Caribbean Journal has learned.

Karisma says travelers should expect “an intimate island location surrounded by the raw beauty of Isla Holbox, combined with exceptional service and distinctive guest experiences,” designed to appeal to both couples and families.
