American Airlines is adding a new route to Los Cabos, Mexico, Caribbean Journal has learned. 

The carrier will begin a new weekly route from Austin to Los Cabos beginning June 5. 

The flight, which will operate weekly on Saturdays, will run seasonally through Aug. 14, 2021. 

It’s part of a broader expansion for the world’s largest airline in Austin. 

“American is eager to expand in Austin alongside the exponential growth of the region, and we’ll be the easiest airline to do business with as we continue to grow,” said Brian Znotins, American’s Vice President of Network Planning.
