Playa to Reopen Five More Resorts in October

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - September 14, 2020

Playa Hotels and Resorts is set to reopen five more of its properties in the Caribbean-Mexico region in October, Caribbean Journal has learned.

That will include the relaunch of Panama Jack Resorts Playa del Carmen; Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta; Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana and Dreams Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic; and Dreams Puerto Aventura on the Caribbean coast of Mexico.

Playa has already reopened 13 of its resorts across the wider region since mid-summer.

“We have been pleased with the guest and associate feedback from each resort that has resumed normal operations and can now confirm the final phase of our reopening plan,” said Gregory Maliassas, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Playa Resorts Management. “We look forward to providing the very best experience with the highest levels of entertainment, luxury, service and safety for our guests.”
