Most of the 18 golf courses in Puerto Rico have officially reopened for play, according to Puerto Rico Governor Wanda Vazquez.
That includes some of the most famous tracks on the island, including Royal Isabela.
Some courses are only open to existing members, however — such as TPC Dorado Beach, Palmas Athletic Club and the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar resort.
The public is “expected to be welcomed back imminently,” according to Discover Puerto Rico, the island’s destination marketing organization.
Puerto Rico remains under a 7 PM to 5 AM curfew, while all people are required to wear a mask when outside or inside a business.
Discover Puerto Rico said courses had implemented a number of new safety protocols like personal protective gear for staff and sanitizing golf carts and the pro shop common areas.
