Swoop Is Adding New Puerto Vallarta Flights

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - January 2, 2020

Canadian ultra-low-cost carrier Swoop has expanded in Mexico, the company said this week.

Swoop has launched new service from Winnipeg’s Richardson International Airport to Puerto Vallarta’s Licenciado Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport.

The new services is Swoop’s second Mexico route out of Winnipeg, joining existing flights to Los Cabos.

“Our route map is constantly expanding, working towards our mission of making travel more affordable, easy and accessible for all,” said Steven Greenway, president of Swoop. “We are continuing to grow our Winnipeg network, providing more options for Canadians to escape and head to warmer destinations.”

The new Puerto Vallarta flights are operating weekly on Tuesdays, with service set to run through April 21,2020.

“We welcome Swoop’s new flight from Winnipeg as this will provide direct access to Puerto Vallarta’s diverse offering this winter,” said Javier Aranda, Director of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board.
