A six-bedroom, seven-bathroom estate on Paradise Island has been sold, Caribbean Journal has learned.
Set on a 2.6-acre parcel, it is located on the highest point on Paradise Island.
The oceanfront estate, Villa Benita, had been on the market for just over three months.
The property had been listed by MCR Bahamas Group Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate’s Sheldon Pitt.
It also boasts 305 feet of road frontage and nearly 200 feet on the harbor, with riparian rights to build a multi-slip marina.
MCR said the site was the “last significant development property” on Paradis Island, calling it an “amazing opportunity to develop and build a five-star boutique hotel or luxury condominium” as well.
