Carnival is adding to its growing presence in California, the company said this week.

After the company expanded its offering earlier this year out of Long Beach, Carnival announced plans next year to return to the Port of San Diego for the first time in seven years.

Carnival Miracle will be homeporting in San Diego for a schedule of three-to-15 day voyages from San Diego, including a seven-day cruise to the Mexican Riviera.

Miracle will also feature two five-day voyages that spend two days in Cabo San Lucas, along with a special four-day Baja Mexico cruise Dec. 30, 2019.

In February 2020, the company will sail a 13-day Panama Canal cruise out of San Diego from Feb. 1 to Feb. 14, concluding in Miami.
