One of the top resorts in St Barth is making a return this fall.

Le Guanahani, one of the French Caribbean island’s signature places to stay, is targeting a reopening in November of this year, according to a statement from St Barth Tourisme.

The hotel, which was named the number one hotel in St Barth by Caribbean Journal last year, is set on a spectacular stretch of beach in Grand Cul de Sac.

“Built on sunshine and spirit, we are incredibly grateful that the St. Barth community has even grown stronger after Hurricanes Irma and Maria. We have come together to start rebuilding our beloved island home to welcome you all back to the Le Guanahani you know and love,” said Martein van Wagenberg, managing director of Le Guanahani, in a statement on the property’s Web site.

The property is not yet taking reservations yet, however.
