Caribbean regional airline LIAT is expanding its footprint at the edge of the Caribbean.
The carrier has announced plans to launch new daily direct flights between Guyana’s Ogle International Airport and Trinidad’s Piarco International Airport.
The new service will begin operating on July 1, 2018, according to a statement from the company.
Guyana is home to two international airports: the Cheddi Jagan International Airport and Ogle, with the latter having seen significant growth in recent years after starting life as a small local hub.
