Quantum-Class Cruise Ships Coming to St Lucia

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - January 1, 2018

By the Caribbean Journal staff

St Lucia will soon be ready to welcome Royal Caribbean’s Quantum-class vessels.

The expansion project at the “dolphin berth” at the island’s Pointe Serafine Cruise Terminal in Castries is slated for completion in the middle of this month.

According to the Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority, the first Quantum-class vessel, Anthem of the Seas, will call on St Lucia on Jan. 13.

It’s another step for St Lucia’s fast-growing cruise sector, which has saw a 19.4 percent increase in cruise passenger arrivals in 2017.

The port will be able to simultaneously accommodate two Quantum-class vessels upon completion.
