A major new cruise ship is coming to PortMiami.

MSC Cruises’ new MSC Seaside, the company’s new flagship, has officially come into service and is making a transatlantic crossing to its new homeport in Miami.

The fifth new prototype from MSC Cruises will feature everything from the MSC Yacht Club to a 131-foot high “Bridge of Sighs.”

It will also include flexible modular staterooms that will be able to accommodate up to 10 guests.

MSC Seaside, the 14th addition to the company’s fleet, will include a mix of indoor and outdoor restaurants from the Asian Market Kitchen by Chef Roy Yamaguchi to a luxury seafood restaurant, Ocean Cay.

It will also include a full-sized bowling alley, an XD cinema, the longest zip line at sea and an aqua park with five water attractions.

The ship departed Trieste this week and is now making a three-week transatlantic crossing to Miami, where it will begin sailing year-round cruises to the eastern and Western Caribbean beginning Dec. 23.
