The Park Hyatt brand is expanding in the region, with plans for two new hotels in Mexico.

Park Hyatt is planning new developments in both Los Cabos and Mexico City.

They will follow the upcoming debut of the Park Hyatt St Kitts.

“We are excited to announce the introduction of the Park Hyatt brand in Mexico,” said Pat McCudden, senior vice president of capital strategy, real estate and development for Hyatt. “Park Hyatt hotels and resorts are masters of detail, and we expect Park Hyatt Los Cabos and Park Hyatt Mexico City will deliver understated elegance and intuitive refinement for guests with an appreciation for world-class architecture, design and cuisine.”

Park Hyatt Los Cabos will be set in a 26-acre site in the Cabo del Sol master-planned golf community. It is slated to debut in 2020 with 162 rooms and 28 branded residences.

The Park Hyatt Mexico City will feature 135 rooms and 23 residences, with plans to open in early 2021 on a site overlooking Chapultepec Park.
