JetBlue Traffic Growth Slows

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - March 10, 2017

After surging for much of the last year (and into this one), JetBlue traffic slowed in February, according to the company’s latest data report.

The carrier reported 3.456 billion revenue passenger miles in February, up just 0.1 percent from February 2016.

Available seat miles rose by 0.7 percent to 4.182 billion, while load factor decreased by 0.5 percentage points to 82.6 percent last month.

JetBlue has been on a rapid expansion push in the Caribbean, adding new routes across the region from Aruba to Grenada.
