The Dream Hotel Group is looking to expand to the Caribbean and Latin America.

The hospitality company, known for its Dream, Time, Chatwal and Unscripted hotel brands, has tapped Christian Glauser-Benz as vice president of development for Latin America and the Caribbean to lead the expansion.

Glauser-Benz “will be responsible for driving the company’s four lifestyle hotel brands into Latin America and the Caribbean markets, playing an integral role in the continued growth and success of the company,” Dream said in a statement.

“Dream Hotel Group is making major moves this year,” said Christian Glauser-Benz, Vice President of Development, Dream Hotel Group. “I am both thrilled and honored to be a part of its growth and success in major cities across Latin America and the Caribbean.”

Glauser-Benz had previously served as vice president at Jones Lang LaSalle, where he was responsible for new hospitality developments in the West Coast and Hawaii.

“We are pleased to welcome Christian to our team as we introduce our brands to new markets in Central and South America,” said Dream Hotel Group CEO Jay Stein. “Christian is a highly skilled and connected individual; his diverse background, business acumen and strategic insight will most certainly help bring Dream Hotel Group into the next phase of its development.”
